The cost is £13 for the tour. If you’d like to join this tour then please put your name and contact number on an envelope, put £13 in the envelope per person and pass back to the nun at your church. Places are limited so please book early.

Medieval (K)night!!!
Friday, April 23, 2010
Unlike most countries in the world, we have largely ignored our own patron saint (St George if you needed reminding!!) . In recent years there has been a rumbling of recognition. We are helping the process! We are having a Medieval Night to celebrate St George’s Day. We’ll be having a Medieval Banquet (well, our version of one!), some Medieval Entertainment (old jokes?) and Medieval Dancing! And, we’d like you to come dressed the part – as a knight, or a peasant or a princess (prizes for the best dressed)! Full details later.

Parish Coach Trip
Saturday, May 01, 2010
Make a note in your diary! During the weekend of the May bank holiday Llandudno has a Victorian Extravaganza with a series of events and exhibitions (those of you who want to find out more about the events can check out the web site www.victorian-extravaganza.co.uk). We’ll be arranging a coach to visit on the Saturday – full details to follow.

Ambleside weekend
Friday, July 02, 2010
Parish Walking Group. July in the Lake District! We have booked a number of rooms in the YHA at Ambleside for the nights of 2nd and 3rd July 2010 (a Friday and Saturday). If you can get onto the web have a look at the setting of this Hostel – it’s absolutely fantastic! There are just a limited number of places available – and they are just £35 per person per night for B&B (it is a YHA so there will be room sharing within the group). During the day we will organise some local walks – but if you just want to come along and “chill out” then that’s fine. We will, wherever possible, organise car sharing to get us all up there (and back!!). First come first served – so if you want to join us then put £70 per person (cheques made out to A Horridge) in an envelope with your details (including if you are driving, have a lift or are looking for a lift) and pass to your nun in church.
